Delay in opening the Quickbooks Company file

After opening Quickbooks when I try to the company file, it takes a long time to open the file. I upgraded the software but still have the exact same problem. Someone help!

Delay in opening the Quickbooks Company file It can also be a problem with your Antivirus or Firewall only if you are using Quickbooks in a multi-user environment. Below are a few solutions that can help you resolve this problem:

Solution 1: Clean Install QuickBooks

You can use QuickBooks Clean install Tool to solve error.

  1. Uninstall QuickBooks from Control Panel
  2. Rename the Installation Folders located in Program Files, AppData & Public Folder
  3. Once you have renamed the folders then you need to download and install QuickBooks again
  4. Make sure you select the right options while installing depending on the network setup.

Solution 2: Configure your Antivirus software to allow QuickBooks
