  • Make the Right-click on the “user.config” file, to Rename it to the user. configold.
  • Close the all the open windows, then try opening QuickBooks Point of Sale for Desktop again.


Note: Make a note always to make the duplicate or second copy of user.config before you rename it. This document may get corrupted while renaming it. Because this is the basic document and QuickBooks POS will get crash without it. Make sure you should not erase and change any other record in QBPOSShell organizer.
