What is QuickBooks Abort Error?

We have an unfamiliar issue with our QuickBooks for about a week. QuickBooks Aborts suddenly during work or idle. The message really doesn’t show any of QuickBooks Error Codes. A description “Error Message: The connection to the company file has been lost. QuickBooks must close immediately. Any unsaved data will need to be re-entered.” The occurrence of QuickBooks Abort Error is now happening on very short intervals. The unsaved work is lost every time QuickBooks aborts. Our internet and Local network otherwise are working fine. We are not able to the figure out the causes of aborting QuickBooks. Can somebody suggest, how to fix QuickBooks abort error?
