Hi, my name is Maria and  I have been an accountant for last 7 years and I have been working on QuickBooks, many of my clients had reported the same problem about QuickBooks Error LA2807.

Causes of QuickBooks Error LA2807

It appears to be either a network configuration issue on the computer you are using or maybe with the ISP. It occurs when QuickBooks is unable to connect with the Intuit servers probably.

You can try repairing QuickBooks or re-configure your Virus protection software or Windows firewall. You might be required to enter few rules in the software to allow the connection between QuickBooks and its servers.

Hey folks,

I have been using QuickBooks since quite few years. I once had faced a similar problem which took me entire day to find a solution.

I can’t be a 100% sure but it seems like When one of the configuration files of the QuickBooks Online Backup is damaged, then QuickBooks error LA2807 appears. It can be resolved by updating the Database file. Then re-run a backup. This will prompt the Online Backup to retrieve an updated to the DB file.

If still not resolved, then you might have to seek professional advice, probably a techie person who help you to troubleshoot error LA2807 while using QuickBooks Cloud Backup service . You can contact to Certified Quickbooks ProAdvisor.

QuickBooks Online Backup is really good and is an easier way to have a backup of the company file.

I was facing the same issue earlier. I tried to fix it myself by uninstalling and reinstalling the QuickBooks Online Backup, however, I got stuck when it was to configure the application. I was stuck as I am not that technical savvy, I later got it rectified by calling up a technical expert, not sure what he did. Later I also lost few backups since it was a problem on my computer but the technical expert helped me recover. It was a miserable day.

If  by chance the error is still unresolved, then contact QuickBooks ProAdvisor Support number.

I understand all the suggestions that people like Maria, Rick & David have posted. Considering all the facts I think it is always better to seek expert assistance rather than to try own steps that may or may not help in resolving the problem. Because in the end we all look for a solution and not just to talk about the problem again and again, Right?
