Important Things to Know Before Troubleshooting:

  1. QuickBooks Payroll service subscription needs to be checked.
  2. Payroll services are available in three categories: Basic, Enhanced and Assisted Payroll.
  3. QuickBooks Payroll service is not available for mac users. It is available for desktop and online users.

All the updates are available for QuickBooks Desktop and payroll services on regular basis.

Fix QuickBooks Error 15271 by Following Below Mentioned Solutions.

Solution 1: Turn off User Account Control (UAC)

  1. Go to control panel.
  2. Find and open User Accounts.
  3. Select the classic view of User Accounts.
  4. Go to Change User account control settings.
  5. Move the slider to Never Notify and click Ok.
  6. Reboot your computer.

Solution 2: Clean Installation of QuickBooks Desktop.

  1. Go to run box and type MSCONFIG.

  4. Restart your computer.
  5. Please uninstall and reinstall QuickBooks using a clean install.
