Having issues downloading banking transactions on QuickBooks

This issue could arise due to several factors:
- There is a problem on the banks side.
- You might have an inactive bank account.
- You are working on a discontinued product version.
- You are downloading a file of the incorrect format.
- There is an internet connectivity issue.
Here’s how you resolve it:
Enable the TLS 1.2 protocol. If you don’t know how then here’s how:
- Download the latest version of Internet Explorer.
- Click on the gear icon at the top of your screen.
- Click on internet options.
- Select the advanced tab.
- Find the security section.
- Check the option for ‘use TLS 1.2’
- Click on apply
- Click on OK.
- Restart your system.
This should fix your problem. In case it doesn’t, then try and create a new test company file using the following steps:
- Navigate to the QuickBooks File Menu.
- Click on New company.
- Select Express Start.
- Add the problematic bank account to this test company.
- Download your bank feed to this one.
