Why I am receiving the QuickBooks event log error 4 while updating QuickBooks?

A few days ago, I was running an important report in QuickBooks and I received a pop up that asked me to update the software. Since I was preoccupied with other tasks, I decided to do it later. So, I tried to update it today as I had some free time on my hands. While updating QuickBooks to its latest release, I received the following error message “Event ID error 4: Failed in loading the ConfigEngineBridge library” or “WPR: calling ABORT_CLOSE”. I sought assistance from my IT team and the inhouse bookkeeper but even they couldn’t figure out How to get rid of QuickBooks event log error 4. So, I searched the internet to see if I could find any piece of information that would help me Fix QuickBooks event log error 4. I am very particular about keeping the things up to date when it comes to my business and I do not want to lose any data at any cost because of a computer software. Can anybody assist me in resolving this issue Asap?
