Hi, I am new to QuickBooks Payroll. Earlier, I was using a third-party payroll service to process all the remunerations. But now I would like to switch to QuickBooks payroll service but I don’t know much about QuickBooks payroll. What are the features available in QuickBooks Payroll and how is it a better option than using a third-party payroll service? What are the different QuickBooks payroll options available? These services are namely QuickBooks Basic payroll, QuickBooks Enhanced payroll, and QuickBooks Assisted Payroll. Depending on what your requirements are, you can select any one of them.

For instance, QuickBooks Payroll Options are not available in QuickBooks Mac. If a Mac user wants to use payroll service then they can use payroll add-on as Online Payroll.
If you don’t want to use any of the QuickBooks Payroll Option, then you can use QuickBooks manual payroll. In manual payroll, your QuickBooks software will not calculate the payroll taxes and not provide you the payroll tax forms. You have to calculate your taxes manually for each paycheck.
