I have many deposits in QuickBooks Desktop that have already been reconciled and it does show the letter R next to them in register. But they also appear on the deposits window which is also affecting the Undeposited Funds Account. Not sure if that is right.

Click on Banking Menu > Registers

Select the Bank Account from the Register Name & click OK.

Look for the transaction that needs to be uncleared or unreconciled

Click on the line of the transaction in the field between the Deposit and Payment

You can continue to click on this field to change the status for a transaction.

Note: If an adjusting entry was made for this reconciliation you are unreconciling you’ll need to find it and delete it.
