How do I view past checks that have already been printed?
I need to know how I can view the checks that have already been printed? Can someone help?
This is a very common human tendency that we forget the thing what we keep safe. That is why GPS tags and devices are very popular now a days. Same goes to QuickBooks and the database related to that, this database includes Checks, Bills, Invoices.
Most of the time if we want to review and see what we have created before, for review purposes and the to take print out then QuickBooks advanced searches comes in handy. There are many ways to find out Checks, Bill and invoices in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online Both.
Easiest way to find the check previously created is to generate a report. If you are using a QuickBooks Online version and not able to find any check you have created, you may follow the steps below:
Check Detail report can be run and you can modify it by printed checks details.
- Go to the navigation pane on the left side of QuickBooks screen and select Reports.
- In the Find report by name search bar find Check Detail.
- Click on Customize button at the upper right corner.
- Now Click Filter > and select the field Check Printed.
- The next step is to Click on drop down next to it and Select the Printed
- Last step is to Click on Run report.
You will get the list of checks printed before and you can easily track the one you were finding.
