Will everything work the same in QuickBooks for Mac as QuickBooks Desktop for Windows?

Hi, I had QuickBooks for Mac 2016 2 years ago and that stopped working for an OS update on my I-Mac and there wasn’t any supported version available back in December 2019. Eventually, I had to buy and get the Parallels installed to be able to use QuickBooks 2018 for Windows. Afterwards, I realized it was a useless choice as that made the computer performance terribly slow and QuickBooks frequently had problems. It may be hard for me to switch back to QuickBooks for MAC for getting used to QuickBooks for Windows. I discovered while researching about the performance issues caused by parallels that QuickBooks for MAC 2019 is available again. I assume converting file to QuickBooks for MAC should have any data loss in QuickBooks company file. But how about the functionality and reporting in new QuickBooks for Mac 2019? Will that be the same as the QuickBooks desktop for Windows version that I presently use? I won’t buy QuickBooks for Mac 2019 if it doesn’t have everything almost the same as in Windows version. Any best suggestions on it are highly appreciated. Thanks.
